One of Rita Lynn Gilman’s collegiate pitchers, Rachel Davis began pitching at the age of 9 and has received training from Rita for the past 12 years. Rachael is also one of the main demonstrators in RLG’s new online videos:
As a high school player, Rachel was a four-year varsity letter winner for Atlee High School and was a part of the 2016 and 2017 state championship teams at Atlee High School. During her junior year, Rachel had a 1.60 ERA with 131 strikeouts in 92 innings and a career-high of 17 strikeouts in one game.
- In her freshman year of college at Francis Marion University, she had a perfect record of 4-0.
- During her sophomore year of college, Rachel tossed two shutouts and had team-best ERA of 2.83.
- During her junior year of college, she pitched 172.1 innings with 139 strikeouts. She also made the Conference Carolinas All-Tournament 2022 team.
