Softball pitcher Madison Inscoe from Chesapeake, VA (Class of 2022) has committed to play softball for NC State University (originally a verbal commit to Auburn University). Madison Inscoe has trained with Rita Lynn Gilman since May 2013. Madison was age 8 then!
Madison attends school at Nansemond Suffolk Academy in Suffolk, VA and most recently played travel softball for Orion Hunter Elite Murphy / Inman 18U National.
Madison Inscoe – Softball Pitching Recent Highlights
In May of 2019, Madison pitched her high school team to the VISAA Virginia State Softball Championship for the first time in 26 years. In the abbreviated 2020 spring season, she was nominated for the Gatorade Pitcher of the Year in Virginia.
In 2019 her Bolts team finished 13th at the PGF National Championships, 7th at the Colorado Sparkler, and 3rd at the Triple Crown/USA Nationals in Atlanta.
Currently, Madison Inscoe’s top recorded speed at our softball pitching shop is 66 MPH. You can view Madison’s speed along with other college-bound pitchers on our Speed Club page.
Madison Inscoe has been pursued by 28 college programs, including schools from every Power 5 Conference. She has been featured regularly in Extra Inning Softball and a recap of stories is captured in the following article about Madison Inscoe’s journey:
